Review summary

This was the best first cruise for our grandchildren. There were a lot of amenities on the ship for them; the basketball court (their first priority); the zipline, rock climing wall, etc. We hardly saw them. There were a lot of teenagers on the cruise so they made a host of friends and spent most of their time with them. As far as the adults were concerned we just wanted to relax and enjoy the beauty of cruising. This is our second cruise with NCL and I still have a problem with all the "speciality restuarants". When we first started cruising this was not a issue, but like anything else money is the primary motiviation. But despite that we enjoyed ourselves.

Those are great tips - thank you! I've been to Horseshoe Bay Beach and St. George, but didn't spend time in the dockyard...or Tobacco Bay Beach. If you have photos, we'd love to see:) http://cruiseline.com/photos

Bermuda was shut down on Thursday and Friday for a Holiday and a Cricket Match but that didn't stop our grandchildren. On Wednesday they wanted to shop at the Dockyard to get all of their souvenirs out of the way. Thursday they went to Hamilton and to Horseshoe Bay Beach and had a ball. Friday they went to the beach at the dockyard and did some snorkling. They wanted to jetski, but thank God they weren't old enough. If this is your first time in Bermuda (our third) I would suggest that you do one day in St. George to see the town and go to Tobacco Bay Beach. On the second day tour Hamilton shop or and go to Horseshoe Bay Beach and spend the last day at the dockyard. It's a beautiful place and whatever you decide to do I know you will enjoy it.
