Food was bland, boring, usually cold at the the buffet. Also no gluten free station. I had a limited timeframe in one restaurant to have gluten free, then at the main dining room I had to have the supervisor come to me daily with the menu, which offered very little choices. After I chose something he would have to go to the original restaurant that had a half hour window, and pick it up for me. All and all a very disappointing dining experience. Whirlpool on our deck was usually inaccessible due to the temperature been eratic, at times only 29 degrees. Shows were always booked, lineups everywhere, entertainment such as House of Houdini where they charged eighteen dollars extra definitely not worth the added charge. We missed two ports because of weather, Cornerbrook didn't have much to offer. Then to top it all off, both my husband and I contracted covid, so we spent the last two days of our cruise in our room. As I mentioned above this trip was so disappointing on so many levels! Overpriced in every department, truly a terrible waste of money, and one that I wish we could take back. Our cruising days are done.

Overall, we had a good cruise with MSC, it was our first time cruising with the company. We love their itinerary. I think they definitely need to work on the menu and presentation of the dishes at the Ocean Cay restaurant. Also, the steaks at the butchers cut restaurant was bland have no taste or too salty, we went there twice and both time was disappointing.

It is our 8th cruise with MSC and it was a success. We need a second time to do the East coast because there is too may beautiful things to see and I guess we will book with them again the yacht club were things always go smoothly overall.

Do not go on this cruise line thinking - “it’s cheap but how bad can it be…” It is awful - I’ve been on Royal / Celebrity / Princess / NCL / Carnival. All of these have their pros and cons but they are clean and serve acceptable food. MSC is not any of these things. Bottom of the barrel cafeteria food on MSC. Overworked staff and understaffed ship. Don’t go!!

Cruise was great! Had an awesome time & got to explore the ship areas I missed on my first MSC cruise.

All in all we really enjoyed the Meraviglia in spite of the negative things we read. They must have been on another ship.

A nice trip. I had fun but it did not meet some expectations. Don’t know if I would do MSC again.

Did the yacht club and a great value compared to other lines. The perks are awesome and we took advantage of a lot of them. We didn't did any shows. Didn't really explore the ship. We stayed mainly in the yacht club and didn't do much outside of it. We relaxed and took advantage of the yacht club areas. On and off the ship quick. Stocked fridge with beer we asked for. Soda, bottled water, chips all included plus a bottle of our choice of liquor. Enjoyed it so much we booked the same cabin for next year. price was about what a club balcony on ncl would be with more space and perks.

A good cruise if you're in the Yacht Club. Otherwise, lower your expectations of everything and you may have a good time. Also, many people enjoy this cruise ship and itinerary because they are already from this area and deal with the rudeness on a daily basis. It's just reality.

This was our first MSC cruise and it was our first YC experience. It was worth every penny. The staff was excellent and the fact that there were only 220 passengers in YC made it feel special.

This was not the experience we are accustomed to. We have done over 16 cruises. Mostly, with Norweigan cruise line and their food, staff and accommodations are exceptional. We were disappointed in the choice we made. We may never sail With this cruise line again.

We thoroughly enjoyed Yacht Club experience. It was amazing.

Made the best of it. Met some nice folks. Bermuda was great. We took an island tour booked thru pricelinecruises. Other exploration we planned independently

Decent cruise for the money. Got to see NYC & Bermuda, so I am very satisfied ! Affordable for a balcony , drink package, and internet . Would cruise again with MSC to their private island on a 3 or 4 day .

We won our upgrade bid to yacht club and won't go back to regular cruising!!! Food was ok from the buffet and regular dining, they make it for 3500 plus people so you can't expect exceptional food.

Overall, we were happy with the cruise, However we did contract Covid aboard. 1) In your emails and ticketing information, you might want to highlight that the cruise leaves from Brooklyn and not Manhattan. On the way to Manhattan (early, luckily) we realized our error. 2) Your check in process was relatively easy, thank you. 3) The "lifeboat drill" was a joke, I'm sorry to say. We never even SAW a lifejacket, much less assemble by a lifeboat. Had the ship sunk, chances are we all would have drowned. 4) Food was good, plentiful too. However, on the last day our little "highlights of the day" advised us that the 15th Floor Buffet would open for breakfast at 5:30am. It did NOT. 5) Sanitizer dispensers were almost always empty; I'm sure that contributed to our contraction of Covid. 6) The music noise level was atrocious, there was nowhere to go to escape it! Even the adults-only pool blared loud music. I can understand the Reflections area being loud, but not the adults' pool. 7) Please have staff monitoring the lines, most especially at the final disembarkation. People were constantly pulling up the rope and stepping in in front of us, and staff presence was minimal, so they would not stop. This might sound petty, but we stood in line very early to secure an early exit. 8) Most of the staff was VERY nice, no complaints there, they work very hard and smile often.

Food and service should have been a lot better. Ways of getting around at the port should have been a lot better explained. The ship is stunning.

Will not be going on MSC or recommending MSC to others . I’m a cruise fanatic this left me a bad taste . As a travel consulten I go an all cruise line to let my clients know the the difference experience on the different ships.

Overall, we loved this cruise. We’ve been on Royal, Norwegian, princess, celebrity and Carnival. Yes there were some things that weren’t great. But that’s been experienced on every other cruise line I’ve been on with the exception of celebrity. After we got home, we booked two more cruises on this line. Very pleased and looking forward to doing it again.
