Review summary

Did the yacht club and a great value compared to other lines. The perks are awesome and we took advantage of a lot of them. We didn't did any shows. Didn't really explore the ship. We stayed mainly in the yacht club and didn't do much outside of it. We relaxed and took advantage of the yacht club areas. On and off the ship quick. Stocked fridge with beer we asked for. Soda, bottled water, chips all included plus a bottle of our choice of liquor. Enjoyed it so much we booked the same cabin for next year. price was about what a club balcony on ncl would be with more space and perks.

More space than a avg sized cabin. Queen bed. I would prefer a king. Decent sofa for 2. Nice size tv and bigger shower. Bigger than avg sized balcony with 2 chairs and small table

Ship tip

First time msc and first time yacht club and would definitely recommend it.

Was pleasantly surprised at the renovated port. Wasn't completed yet but it's a nice improvement and look forward to seeing it when completed. We just walked around the port

Miami, Florida

Unfortunately was melt your soul hot and humid. Took a cab to south beach and walked around the art deco area

Brooklyn, New York

To me it's the terminal and not a port of call

Again, traffic makes it hectic trying to get a cab.

@cruisedudeny65 Thank you for answering my question. I was just curious 🤔. Makes lots of sense due to your location. I don't live in the USA so I travel wherever. I did this recent cruise to maintain diamond status only. Happy cruising.

Skooby, I live and choose to cruise from the nyc area. I don't have the worry of where I'm gonna park or if my luggage is over weight as well as if I have a flight delay. Yes, there are many great cruises around the world and maybe some day I will go on 1, so the cruises from my area that are round trip are either Bahamas, Bermuda, New England and Canada or the Caribbean so I go on the same cruises to cruise. Not because I haven't been to a particular place. I have 3 ports near me and the convenience of it outweighs flying all over the world to go on a cruise. To each their own and many fly to my area for a cruise.

Good you were in the the Yacht Club! But my question for you and even the previous cruiser who left a recent review on this board. How can you guys repeatedly do the same cruise to the Bahamas time and time again? There's just so many other worthwhile destinations around the world. I don't get it, probably because I hate every port on that route 😀 with the exception of Bermuda. If I "had' to go I would only get off when it hit Bermuda regardless if I was in the yacht club or not.
