This cruise line needs to their staff in order. The service was awful to say the least. The food was salty, warm juice was served with no ice. The lunch and breakfast settings were terrible. I received coffee with cream that curdled.

Review summary

This was not the experience we are accustomed to. We have done over 16 cruises. Mostly, with Norweigan cruise line and their food, staff and accommodations are exceptional. We were disappointed in the choice we made. We may never sail With this cruise line again.

They had long lines and lines were not moving. Some people that got in line a lot later then others were served first. It was definitely unorganized.

We had one assistant supervisor who was absolutely awful. We asked about the juice being warm and he shrugged his shoulders and said “we don’t add ice because we don’t want to water the juice done. That’s the way it is. Then walked off. Other people on this sailing were complaining about same issues. There some staff that were great! Jude Marion Gaza, Christopher Dunlao, I Ketut Sudana, and Suhaeri. They all Worked in the Panarama and made our experience great!

We had some personal that went above and beyond. There was a bar on deck six. There we met a bartender Brian. He was absolutely exceptional. These bar wa located near the MSC gift shop.

The cabin was small for a balcony stateroom compared to Norweigan Cruise lines accommodations.

Ship tip

I wouldn't recommended this cruise line. They’d have to get things in order as far as food and service are concerned.

MSC is terrible out out of NYC or anywhere in the USA. It's completely ran differently. Try them again in a different country and even on a smaller ship and things would be definitely better. I ran into similar issues with my recent cruise on the same ship, and lots of the staff members and passengers are based in NYC with the same attitude they carry on the streets. And the same for the port workers.
