Beautiful ship but lacking cleaning vomit on floor which things happens . It’s unexceptionable that it was just there and no one came to clean it . Some one slipped on it . Vey nasty.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was ok not as clean . When we got their balcony had crumbs and sticky cup marks on the table . Bed had something that caused us to itch we checked for bed bugs but didn’t see anything.

I get it. I’ve only been on one MSC. We were hoping it would be our new favorite line and are not picky but unfortunately, it was our least favorite cruise. Nothing horrible but they just don’t seem to try very hard. Other lines can do simple things like a decent buffet, welcoming attitude, customer service, etc but MSC just doesn’t put in the effort. I do want to give them another shot and with low expectations I hope to enjoy it more.

You should try "other" MSC cruise ships OUTSIDE the USA. Their smaller ships. It's night and day. For instance the one based in the UK Southampton Port and the USA Brooklyn Port are both disasters in comparison. They're too crowded and short staffed still. Most of the employees are new. 5000 guests need to get off while 5000 more are angry outside wanting to get in and expect everything to be spotless in a 6 hour turn around. I'm cruising on this ship soon and will post a honest and logical review based on the circumstances at hand. Disembarkation is a port problem. Doesn't matter if you're sailing MSC and paid $500 or Cunard's Queen Mary 2 and paid $10,000 you're going to wait your turn unless you're in the MSC Yacht Club or have status on either ship. Anyone who wants a 5 star service, pay the extra money and book the MSC Yacht Club on any of the overcrowded MSC ships.

MSC generally only gets good reviews from people who have only ever cruised with MSC. The ships are beautiful though, I'll give them that

We have no seeums in Florida, they bite.. and then hours later when your trying to sleep is when it begins to itch.

gwright1129    1 year ago

Well perhaps the itch was from the sea lice and not the bed....
