Review summary

We have gone on a number of cruises with different cruise lines Princess, Royal and wanted to try a new line MSC. It is convenient as we live nearby. We were totally disappointed as it was nothing we ever experienced. Staff not helpful, food quality was poor. Didn't care about ports because the cruise is the vacation the ship the activities the food the shows. It was disappointing in many ways but the ship itself was clean and captain did a wonderful job keeping us away from the hurricane.

All shows were excellent with the exception of the Houdini show which we had to pay for and certainly not worth it..

Our room was not serviced until I either called or after dinner. We have never experienced such poor stateroom service in all of our cruises. The attendant seemed annoyed when we asked to have our cabin cleaned or ask for towels.

Size much smaller than any other balcony cabin we stayed in. As I said we needed to ask for our cabin to be serviced or even get some ice. Poorly done

Agree! Ocean cay is pristine and the best private island. There are activities on the island just like on the ship you just need to watch the app.

Best Private Island in the Bahamas! If you were bored that's on you as they have plenty to do and explore.

MSC is a budget cruise line. If you want everything 5 stars, then next time book their "Yacht Club Experience". You apparently saved a lot of money booking this cruise in comparison to Celebrity for example. And you got your money's worth. It's simple as that. Even boarding and the Yacht Club guests walk straight in.
