The ABSOLUTE WORSE CRUISE we have ever taken!!! by amadamia21

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Divina

We cruise atleast 3 times per year and this was our first time taking MSC. It was the Christmas cruise from hell!! Spent alot of money for our family to go and everything was a disaster! Boarding took 8 hours, food was school cafeteria quality, service was shameful with the staff constantly making you feel they were doing you a favor! Lines at customer service were never-ending and wait time atleast an hour! Entertainment was sub-standard. We were on a Christmas cruise and the decorated trees were a joke….imagine plastic trees, no lights, 2 boxes of cheap balls! Words can’t describe the disappointment of this cruise!

Worst trip by rebmiester

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Divina

We couldn’t port anywhere because of the weather so we stayed on sea the entire time. There was nothing for families to do on the ship. It’s just a cruise for drinking. Next time, we will do a different cruise line that’s more family friendly. Even if just us adults went, we would still be bored, as we aren’t drinkers. Pools were closed due to weather. Hot tubs were always full and barely warm. Childcare area was for wide range of ages 3-11 and only video games, legos, and coloring sheets available in a tiny room. They also don’t tell you that despite you going to a beach, they expect your children to have closed toe shoes in there. We went on a cruise to visit islands, other countries, lounge on the beach. I understand we couldn’t port, but other ships decided to go elsewhere like Mexico where it was calm. Our captain didn’t even attempt to go anywhere different. We just stayed on sea on a boring ship.

Worst travel experience ever by DanieWo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Divina

This cruise was terrible. They went out to sea knowing about the storm, the ship tracked in a storm the entire time. The boat was constantly rocking heavily, patio furniture going everywhere, drinks and food spilling. Never ported , kept at sea. No port fees were refunded. They gave passengers $100, but didn't refund the actual person who paid for reservations. Late getting into port To get off ship, we were rudely kicked out of cabins, sent with 1000's of people to wait for over 3 hours in lounges and casinos, fights broke out, staff were rude. The worst travel experience ever!!

Not a good experience. by iris201

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Divina

The entire experience was unorganized. Food was barely edible. Lots of areas inaccessible because of weather. Many staff members weren't overly friendly. Felt like a nuisance to ask for things. Charged extra for room service for more meals even though it said two per person were allowed. Fridge was a mini bar so in order to keep water cold, had to have staff come and unlock it. Just not a good experience at all.

BAD by lynnlove78

If they knew the weather was bad, why take us right into it. They knew before we left that we wouldn’t be able to port anywhere.

Not the best, but good value by net169

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina

Food selection is limited in buffet, especially the breakfast, the menu never changed. Lunch is better with daily specials. Pizzas are Ok but don't fit American taste. Pastas taste bland. The hamburgers are very good - more like home-made and much better than fast food restaurants. The bright side is the vegetarian options are abundant. Main dining is fine. The menu should add pictures, otherwise it is like a black box.

MSC Divina: A Disappointing Experience by camilom

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Divina

The MSC Divina's shortcomings, from its outdated design to its subpar food and service, left me with a disappointing overall impression. While the ship may appeal to those seeking a budget-friendly cruise option, I would strongly advise discerning travelers to consider alternative options for a more enjoyable and memorable vacation experience.

A 2.5 Stars Experience by camilom

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Divina

I recently sailed on the MSC Divina, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The ship itself, although visually appealing, seemed poorly managed and lacked the standards one would expect from a reputed cruise line. Firstly, the cabin was a major letdown. It was cramped and not well-maintained, with evident signs of wear and tear. The dining experience was equally disappointing. The food variety was limited and the quality was subpar. The buffet area was always crowded, and the staff seemed overwhelmed, leading to long waits and a lack of available seating. Entertainment options were lackluster. Day and night time activities were scarce and poorly organized, leaving us with little to do.Customer service was another area where MSC Divina fell short. The staff often seemed disinterested and unhelpful. The ship's layout was confusing, with poor signage, making it easy to get lost. Elevators were slow and crowded, adding to the frustration. Overall, the MSC Divina failed to provide the enjoyable and relaxing experience I was hoping for. The lack of attention to detail, substandard service, and mediocre amenities made it an underwhelming voyage. I would not recommend this cruise to others.

Good value! by mushky1986

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Divina

I had a really good time, I was happy with most of the ports. I was happy with the food. The room was good, especially since I had my own balcony room. I did well at the casino, but… They were very stingy, and they didn’t offer free drinks, or any other types of promotions.

Disappointed MSC Divina by ScottDraper

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Divina

This was not my 1st cruise on the Divina, but it is likely the last. Staff interaction was strained and they were downright rude at times. Lack of cleanliness and crowds in the buffet are a turn off and activities are limited on board. The Ocean Cay island is nice to see from a distance but the on-island experience leaves much to be desired.

Nice family vacation by jamienotary4u

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Divina

Very nice trip, excursions were beyond compare. They too were booked with bj's travel. I will never again book direct through cruise line. This is not a party ship, so if this is what you are looking for, don't book this cruise.

wonderful trip and relaxing time by garaldcarr

It was a nice spring getaway from Colorado. We enjoyed the food, staff and ship and will definitely do more MSC cruises. More variety of entertainment beyond production shows would be nice.

Amazing Caribbean Cruise by ZylkiaSantiago

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Divina

This was our very first cruise ever. And although the weather was gloomy and cloudy for the first part of our cruise, the weather got better and we were able to enjoy some fun in the sun. Overall, the MSC Divina is an amazing ship. The food was great, the staff was friendly, and it was a wonderful 1st time cruise experience.
