Review summary

Do love MSC and their use if so many languages. Feel well cared for and pampered. Food even for vegetarians is very good

So quick and easy. We arrived at our appointed time and there was no waiting.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Love the breakfast buffet. Always fresh fruit and bacon plus pecan/carmel rolls were delicious...every day The Doges bar was perfect for a light lunch of finger sandwiches and the best desserts of mousse cakes and tiramisu. Dinner in the dining room was good. Only once did I did not like the selections in 17 days. The waiters were spot in with service and friendliness.

Onboard Activities

Miss the comedy acts we see on other lines. The productions with singing and dancing were wonderful. Did not do trivia or the pool but friends said the pool slide was a must.

I like this ship style. Always try to get the big balcony.

Cabin / Stateroom

All good in repair and clean. Do wish MSC would provide hand cream.

Ship tip

Go to Doges bar for the complimentary finger sandwiches and desserts. Watch for elegant nights when bars offer free champagne for a half hour

Go to Cortes chocolate bar for their chocolate martini. It's the best.

Did Marigot plus Maho beach excursion from MSC. Saw a lot and did have a plane almost land on us.

Fort-De-France, Martinique

Go to the postal bank to get the Euros you'll need in Europe. Send a postcard too. You'll need to buy those elsewhere at a souvenir shop.

Bridgetown, Barbados

Avoid port on a Sunday. Everything was closed.

Funchal, Madeira

Again here on a Sunday. Took bus 22 for 2 euros to top by the Gardens hoping to do the basket toboggans but don't run on Sundays. Cable car down for 13 euros was a great time . Had poncha drink in town.

Casablanca, Morocco

Awesome guide Mohammed on MSC shore excursion. Spent 2 hours in the mosque and so beautiful. Short stops at market and then bazaar.
