Review summary

This was our very first cruise ever. And although the weather was gloomy and cloudy for the first part of our cruise, the weather got better and we were able to enjoy some fun in the sun. Overall, the MSC Divina is an amazing ship. The food was great, the staff was friendly, and it was a wonderful 1st time cruise experience.

Embarkation

Perfect.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining rooms as well as the buffets were always clean and the staff was always very nice.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I did not get to participate as much on the onboard activities, but the Divina main pool could use an upgrade. The pool is too deep for any kid to swim in, and even any adults shorter than 6 feet.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room stewards/attendant was the nicest man I ever met. He was polite, attentive, and always cleaned our room and made it look spectacular.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
All the common areas on the ship were very clean. The layout and design of the ship was just stunning!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The comfort of our cabin was very good. We actually got an upgrade to a balcony cabin and it was spectacular to see their private island the morning we arrived.

Ship tip

My one advice would be to check out their amazing theatre and take advantage of their wonderful shows.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
The port was not crowded when we arrived and the staff was very accommodating so we can finish the check in process quicker.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
The port at Nassau, Bahamas was gorgeous. The water was super clear and clean, and the people were very friendly.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
A must see destination. It truly is paradise at the palm of your hand

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was a breeze. Although there was a long line to exit the ship, it moved very quickly.
