I would advise to good a room in the middle of the ship. We were in the forward section and it was long way from any of the food. We did have a short wall to the pool, but we found ourselves frustrated by the distance to the restaurants in the rear of the ship.

Show up early for tendering. It’s the most chaotic and disorganized experience I’ve ever seen. We missed our ship excursion due to this and were ontime for everything we had control over

Take time to get to know the staff, whether it's the housekeeping, the waiters, whomever. Ask them about themselves, their families, their countries. They're not just there for "hi and bye"; they are people too and they appreciate being acknowledged.
