Review summary

Had a good time. Typical Caribbean cruise with RCCL. Great for folks in TX that can save money and drive to the port. Older ship, but still had good entertainment and facilities.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I am diamond so the line was short and moved quickly. However they did take my power brick that I had taken on many cruises in the past.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was on par with other RCCL sailings.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were good, however they did have lots of tech difficulties with the audio in the main showroom.

Children's Programs

I did not travel with kids.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff did a good job.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was standard RCCL Balcony. Bathroom is small but you expect that. Would have loved to have more power outlets.

Ship tip

Explore the whole ship, to find your favorite spots to relax.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

4 out of 5
arrival and departure only. traffic can be hairy getting into the port.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
took a cab and toured the island, visited a monkey/bird/sloth zoo where they would jump on you.

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
did a RCCL swimming with the rays and sharks excursion on the reef. was lots of fun. not too many sharks that day.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
lots of shopping here, did a cab tour of the island and went to a tequila tasting place. lots of samples.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
always the low light of a cruise. too much waiting to get off the ship and then waiting for us customs.

We love cruising but we're always flying to port. But it's awesome that folks living in Texas and Florida can drive right to the port. That's probably the only thing that would make cruising even better on our end. But we'll cruise anyway!
