Wonderful for staff. Only reason for 4 stars were the new paper straws for drinks. The texture on tongue... Disgusting

Children's Programs

Was treated poorly the last day by the noon staff in Adventure Ocean. First time for my younger kids being in the program and as a C&A member I was disappointed in how they treated me. I had a phone due to my son being three years old and they never once called me on it. Apparently they called all authorized pickups in our party at their staterooms and no one answered other than me because I happened to be in the room. And then I was threatened and charged for $1 a minute being over when we're apparently supposed to check them out by noon because of sessions. as I find out, port days are treated differently than at Sea days. in one of them you can keep the kid in as long as you want and check them out when you do. The other you have to check them out by the end of a given three-hour session. This is not clearly related to anyone. I had asked about this before I even put them in for the first time. Threatening after the fact to charge $1 per child per minute over the session ends time was extremely upsetting. I had no complaints about this child service up until the last at Sea day in the staff that day. They were different from the staff earlier in the week.
Service and Staff

Superb by bar and all food staff. this was the first time I had a stateroom attendant that did not leave towel animals everyday, did not leave a card at the beginning of be very open and introducing himself. He stayed pretty quiet the entire cruise. I cruise two to three times a year and found that to be a little disappointing

Cabin / Stateroom

Comfortable. A few rattles and vibrations during rough seas. Would wake me up at night. Bathroom smaller than all other equivalent cabins I've been in. Was difficult with smaller kids.
Ship tip
Plan ahead of time. Get on early and walk decks for layout. Have fun!
since I cruise two to three times a year there is a Jungle Top Zipline near the port. As soon as you walk outside to walk there you're hounded by a bunch of individuals wanting to guide you even though you know where you're going. They can get pretty aggressive at times. One coming back to the ship insisted we needed to give him at least $1 tip because it was Christmas no matter what and he had no involvement in our process. the zipline we went to had a photo package in my sister-in-law paid cash. They were to email the photos to her. It's been almost a week now and she has yet to receive the photos. I've tried communicating with them as well with no response. We've gone to the zip line Place several times over the last few years and never had any issues. Disappointing
tried Paradise Beach for the first time and it was a good experience. Would have been nicer if it was clear or blue water but I believe the fronts in the wind stirred up sediment in the water making it a little dirty
was able to exit the ship first dude my parents being in a concierge suite. Iron Tire family of 16 was able to piggyback on them even though the rest of us had ocean view rooms at the front of the ship on the starboard side. We were through customs and in our shuttle to our vehicle by 8:08 a.m.
