Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
What to say. The wait staff was the best. We had 10 in our party and had dinner at 7:30 every night. Our waiter, Frank, and Assistant Waiter, Alfonzo were absolutely the best ever. They always remembered to bring my mother-in-law room temperature water and they never forgot my gluten free bread. Being gluten free, the menu for the next night was brought to me every night after dinner. If I made a choice that had some gluten in it, the chef made sure that it was gluten free. For example, one night I had ordered Baked Alaska (not realizing that sponge cake was part of the recipe. They brought me a small bowl that was toasted meringue on it and underneath was the ice cream - gluten free baked alaska. The ship was always clean, I never saw any trash anywhere. I would sail Royal Caribbean every chance I got.

Onboard Activities

There were so many activities to choose from. We especially enjoyed the adult swim areas and the hot tubs over the ocean. My husband enjoyed the rock climbing wall.

Our room was perfect for myself, my husband and our daughter. It was always kept clean for us. The balcony was a great bonus as we had not requested one, but were upgraded at no cost.

Ship tip

Be ready to be treated like royalty.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Cozumel, Mexico

It was raining when we arrived at Cozumel. We were supposed to go snorkeling, but our excursion offered us a jeep tour if we wanted to do that. We have a great time despite the rain.

George Town, Grand Cayman

This port was clean. We took a taxi to the Royal Palm Beach Club and just spent the day at the beach. It was relaxing and warm.

Falmouth, Jamaica

This port was super clean. My daughter and I took a trolley tour of Falmouth and then shopped in the port area. We had a great time.

They were calling numbers way earlier than expected. We were one of the last one off the ship because we never heard our number being called.
