We had a wonderful cruise. The service is above and beyond super. The meals are sooo good and plenty to eat. If you go away hungry, you've only got yourself to answer to. Our stateroom was great....a window with a view of sunrise in the morning...spacious.... The shows were the best of the best and the last night of cruise the show was very entertaining. Thanks and we look forward to our next cruise.

Enchanting Cruise by shermancharlie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

On September 2, 2013 we departed for a four night cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas. We are veterans of numerous cruises but only one had been on Royal Carribean. We wondered if a four night could measure up to the week long experience we had on Royal. Well i'm pleased to say it did. Although the ship lacked some of the amenities that the newer RCI ships posess, the crew made up for it. Unlike some cruise lines (i won't mention them by name), we were not constantly bombarded with reminders about CASH BINGO or hounded by drink sellers by the pool. If we wanted to play Bingo, we knew where and when to go and if we needed a drink, all we had to do was wave a hand and we got immediate service. The food was as good as any we have had on any cruise line. The Cruise staff was outstanding and the Captain was as visible as any i have ever seen and he had the personality to go with the ship, All in all, it was an enchanting experience and we are talking about going again after the beginning of the new year.

Birthday Cruise for my son by Threedee63

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was a last minute surprise cruise for my son's birthday. Not only was he overwelmed with excitement but this was also his first cruise ever. We had a fabulous time and are ready to go again. I have personally cruise with RCCL several times and highly recommend this cruise company. The Enchanment of the Seas was very nice, clean and plenty of activities to do. My only complaint would be about the pool area. With this ship offering a kids splash zone, kids pool and even a deeper pool right next to the kids pool, I was annoyed with the amount of kids continully jumping and splashing in both pools. Though I realize this is a parenting issue, it would have been nice to be able to relax and enjoy one of the pools without all the kids. I do realize that there was a quite pool in the Solarium but we really wanted to be outdoors. Just wish there was a way to restrict the kids to one pool area. Other than that, this cruise was wonderful and my son will always remember it. He is still talking about how much fun we had. Thank you RCCL .......

Great Intro to Cruising by Skpfla

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My 22 year daughter and I went for a mom/daughter weekend. We both had a great time! The ship was clean, modern, friendly staff, good food, and lots to do. This was my fourth cruise, but my daughters first. My first time on Royal Caribbean. I wont go back to the other "C" cruise line. No comparison. Only two things that could be better. The person selling the refillable drink cups was not at all helpful, friendly, or wanting to explain. Gave the spiel and looked at us. Another guest explained it. It is a great value. Do it! My daughter's only complaint was no chocolate milk was available. Great time!

Best 3 night cruise by Cinematic09

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I'm giving Royal Caribbean Enchantmant of the Seas 5 stars because of the following: 1. I had a problem getting on the boat with my birth certificate and D.L. Royal Caribbean placed phone calls back to my state for me and in less then 30 minutes my wife and I were on the boat. 2. Are room was great and we got a free upgrade. 3. The staff was more then helpful and pleasant, everyone and I mean everyone was friendly, not putting on an act, but were down right great ! 4. The event and specials on the boat were beyond anything I could have imagined. I have sailed Carnival cruise lines and this was my first Royal Caribbean cruise. They just exceeded all expectation and made Carnival look like the public bus system of cruising. 5. Check out, I usually check out and having to go through all the hassles of getting off the boat and going through customs and the long lines and chaos. Royal Caribbean has a system that is not only customer friendly but enjoyable. The wait was pleasant, not long, there was no standing, they opened the theater, had refreshment and snacks, and kept everyone informed of what was going on. Royal Caribbean has set the bar high for all other cruise lines and they just keep getting better and better. Calvin Greer

First Experience with Royal Caribbean by CruisinOtter

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Our family took this cruise as first timers to see if we would enjoy cruising-we did! I was concerned about the size of our stateroom (large family ocean view category F) because I'd heard how small ship cabins can be, but we were all very comfortable even when the pullman beds were down - my 7 yo found the pullman bed to be comfy but my 20 yo didn't, but she got along well enough. We all had plenty to do onboard and off and enjoyed many of the shipboard activities...the pool deck gets very crowded during peak hours but we often swam in the evening and almost had the pool to ourselves-the solarium was a lovely experience! Our time in Coco Cay was great, although the lunch was a bit frantic as we seemed to be hungry when everyone else was... all in all, we enjoyed the service we received onboard-very friendly staff and we all felt very well taken care of. We are looking forward to our next cruise!

RCCL is pure class by Debbiescruise

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The activities, food, state rooms, and especially the staff were 1st class all the way. Would not travel on any other cruise line. Have been on other cruise lines and there is not comparison The cleanliness of the ship is unbelievable. I had a balcony room and it was awesome Even the lower decks have large windows in each room: not the tiny portholes of days gone by

Great Get Away!!! by Sunshineseaker

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I have been on many Royal Carribean cruises and keep coming back because of the service and attention to detail. I always find new things that enhance my experience. This cruise I found the beverage package that allowed me to purchase various beverages without breaking the bank. While vacationing I like to try new things and this beverage package allowed me to try various tropical drinks and wines but also includes juice and soda. It's a good deal. I would recommend this short getaway as a break between longer more expensive vacations.

Great weekend getaway by sham

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This cruise I have taken many times before. I will do it again. Its great for a quick getaway. The food a always present. On this cruise I was not able to order room service off the dining room menu. This was allowed before, I was disappointed for this change. Another problem I have with the dinning room is that is difficult to get a table for two, when my wife and I go away, it is so we can spend time alone, not with strangers in a large table. In all fairness the crew do try and accommodate, but this time we have to leave the dinning room because of this. In the past they were able to fix this on the spot. I don't know if they did not try or there was no table just for two. Overall is was a good cruise, I have already booked another one, this time I will try and make dinning room request earlier.

Very Nice Cruise!!! First Time Cruiser by CruiseforlifeMN

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I would recommend this cruise to my friends. it was very nice especially being my first time. The only thing I would change is that when it was time to leave the cruise line put an extra charge on my sea pass bill that I did not make after I had paid my bill in full the night before. But they removed it with no problem. They had very good food on the Windham buffet restaurant, but I did not see any shrimp or crab to eat. I think that should have been incorporated in the meals at least for 2 nights. If you like to be served they have a restaurant called "My fair Lady" the food was good, but needed more flavor, it was a little bland. But am planning my next cruise the same one to Bahamas! Gotta do it again now that I know how everything goes down! 4 stars!!!

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This is a great weekend get-a-way cruise. Completely redone about a year ago, and has everything the bigger ships do! CHOPS restaurant for a great dining experience.....food is fabulous! Shows were Las Vegas caliber. LOVED them! we NEVER got off the ship....just enjoyed pool side venues and relaxation reading a book, being fed delicious food, and awesome night life activities. I WILL be doing this same cruise again!

the best time ever by needanothertrip

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

These people are so friendly. From the cuise director to the staff house keepers and even Quick Draw. He is from the glass bottom boat tour at Cocoa Cay. The ship is clean and everyone is curyios and extreamly friendly. The drink service how ever is a little on the pricey side . Avearge 7 or 8 $ a drink They should drop the price a bit for the alcohal drinks and remember you have allready tiped them. All in All a great trip. WE are going bake in Feb. 2014 This will be our 5TH cruise JUst love it Bonvoyage.

Great Weekend Get Away by SSC

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I took my two 20 something granddaughters on this cruise. It was a great trip for all of us. The service on the ship was excellent; the girls really enjoyed the snorkeling excursion and we all enjoyed Cocoa Cay. If you only have a few days or if someone in your family has never cruised previously, this is the ideal trip. Also, if you are a shopper, the shopping director on this ship gave the best presentation I have ever seen. She saved me hours of looking for the watches I came to buy as well as several hundred dollars out of my pocket. Royal Caribbean gives consistently outstanding cruising experiences.

Cruise by Threasa

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The boat was fine, our first impression of the staff was the guy at the table for the soda packages. He was rude and impatient and did not want to explain anything. Our room was fine, the steward was fabulous. He knew our names and opened the door for us every time he saw us.

Every aspect of the cruise made me feel like a queen. The show were the best. Loved the activities . Meeting the Captain's, and the crew, attending the Captain party, was perfect. In my next career I want to be a cruise coordinator.

Great service, value and ship itself! by SDW2001

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Had a great time. This was our first trip on Royal Caribbean. Let me tell you...it is far superior to other cruise lines (like, um "The Big C"). Ship was beautiful, with a Solarium (adults only pool area), great main pool deck, grand staircase, multiple bars and restaurants, etc. The staff was ALWAYS helpful and polite, going out of their way to even say "hi" or let you walk in front of them--no matter how busy they were. Food was very good overall. We were lucky to have great weather in the Bahamas, which was beautiful. We got an inside cabin for cost reasons, but it was nice nonetheless. A few minor qualms: We had the soft drink pass, but it was hard to find open bars or Coke machines after 11 p.m. on the main deck. This includes limited food availability after 11. Also, the food in the main dining room was good, but not spectacular...and service here was below the standard set by the rest of the employees on the ship (our waiter was just "OK). We felt there could have been more nightlife was well. Even Karoke was in a bar in the middle of the ship (it was for adults), so young ones could come and go. The "adult" comedian was not funny, and did only a 25 minute set. Overall though, a great experience.

enchantment of the seas by ChrisG15

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

very nice ship . dining room very classy . you can tell the refurb is new . new furniture. carpets new . very nice overall. very safe . I felt the staff was very nice overall . the last cruise we went on monarch and that one overall was little disappointing. the enchantment is a great ship . the pools structure and dimensions was disappointing. food was great . felt very safe . the island was very nice. we lost power briefly and RC handled it very well. I would recommend and sail with RC again . Although I would look for last minute deals instead as the 3 night did seem kinda pricey. Overall I give it 4 stars ! :)

My whole family had a terrific vacation by KimPierce

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was a 3rd cruise for myself and a first for my husbnad and 3 children. We all had a spectacular time. The food was the best, the kids enjoyed the excursions, and the staff from check in to check out and everyone in between were just the greatest. I've been on other cruise lines and Royal Carribean is by for the best! We'll definitely be back, hopefully with the kids next time though. :) Kim Pierce
