Review summary
On September 2, 2013 we departed for a four night cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas. We are veterans of numerous cruises but only one had been on Royal Carribean. We wondered if a four night could measure up to the week long experience we had on Royal. Well i'm pleased to say it did. Although the ship lacked some of the amenities that the newer RCI ships posess, the crew made up for it. Unlike some cruise lines (i won't mention them by name), we were not constantly bombarded with reminders about CASH BINGO or hounded by drink sellers by the pool. If we wanted to play Bingo, we knew where and when to go and if we needed a drink, all we had to do was wave a hand and we got immediate service. The food was as good as any we have had on any cruise line. The Cruise staff was outstanding and the Captain was as visible as any i have ever seen and he had the personality to go with the ship, All in all, it was an enchanting experience and we are talking about going again after the beginning of the new year.Ship experiences

Ship tip
I am a cigar smoker and i realize the older ships don't have cigar lounges. We were allowed to smoke in the evening near the bar on the pool deck and that satisfied me.
