Review summary
Had a great time. This was our first trip on Royal Caribbean. Let me tell you...it is far superior to other cruise lines (like, um "The Big C"). Ship was beautiful, with a Solarium (adults only pool area), great main pool deck, grand staircase, multiple bars and restaurants, etc. The staff was ALWAYS helpful and polite, going out of their way to even say "hi" or let you walk in front of them--no matter how busy they were. Food was very good overall. We were lucky to have great weather in the Bahamas, which was beautiful. We got an inside cabin for cost reasons, but it was nice nonetheless. A few minor qualms: We had the soft drink pass, but it was hard to find open bars or Coke machines after 11 p.m. on the main deck. This includes limited food availability after 11. Also, the food in the main dining room was good, but not spectacular...and service here was below the standard set by the rest of the employees on the ship (our waiter was just "OK). We felt there could have been more nightlife was well. Even Karoke was in a bar in the middle of the ship (it was for adults), so young ones could come and go. The "adult" comedian was not funny, and did only a 25 minute set. Overall though, a great experience.Ship experiences
