March time seems to have a lot of older couples. Don’t shy away from it, just know you have to deal with all their rowdiness. 😌

Get back to ship early from the islands, so much fun watching the runners try to make the ship lol. Also if you can’t sleep one night definitely go up on deck and look out over the water. Super beautiful and serene.

Great ship with great staff

take your covid prevention and cold meds along. Sundry shop next to guest services a joke unless you need spirits and tobacco.

Just remember they have formal nights, you do not have to participate there are other options like room service which if free and the lack luster buffet. The pool in the AFT (back if ship) is very private, quiet with a bar. Want a steak but don’t have specialty dining, order it through room service, there is a cost but it is good. If you order room service they forget to bring things at time, like salt pepper, butter, sugar, cream etc. make sure you request.

Get another ship! Going a half speed messed up everything.

Make sure your itinerary will not change or ports and excursions cancelled

If going to Alaska, bring a book, binoculars and warm clothes.

Our cruise details: 3215N / 7 Days Alaska - Inside Passage W/Gb, Crown Princess Embarkation: May 28, 2022 / Seattle Disembarkation: June 4, 2022 / SeattleStateroom / Cat: A410 / BA (11th floor), Two ports cancelled one Ketchikan they then scheduled Icy Strait Point as replacement then canceled it, engine problems going half speed whole trip, 4 excursions cancelled by Princess due to delayed port entry, or not at all, substituted whale watching tour Juneau for 3 1/2 hours (less than the 5 hour one we'd scheduled) snack was ONLY 1 Ritz cracker with salmon and jelly on it plus either vanilla or chocolate donut HOLE. For an excursion during dinner hour that is a mighty meager snack. Feel free to give Princess a ration of crap about this incident and the ship had two previous cruises with that engine problem and was scheduled for two more with same problem. Lobster night-3 of 4 people who had lobster-it was rubbery and inedible. Food was either good or not good 50% hit or miss on a ship with 1080 crew and 2/3 occupancy of around 2000 people. We have cruise Carnival for 3 cruises before this and covid and will NEVER cruise with Princess again. They gave us NOTHING except $100 OBC for each of us. we heard others had free drink packages and free steak restaurant, but we got NOTHING.NOW WE HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID, Princess had rumors of Covid on Ship, saw the Fleet Captain for MQA in elevator going up to 12 where area was blocked off, plus some of 4 was blocked off we heard, NO THANKS TO PRINCESS for infecting us

Crown Princess is BROKEN!!! We are currently on the Crown Princess. One of the motors is broken, there is a terrible vibration in the back of the ship and sounds horrible. In the dining rooms you have to almost yell to hear others at your table. The ship is also traveling at very slow speed. Port times have gone from a day to just a few hours, due to travel speed times. Another port has been canceled all together. When visiting with customer service, I’ve been told this has been a problem for the last several cruises. I asked why we weren’t notified? They stated they did send notification of the itinerary changes. They did send notification 24 hours prior to departure. I checked emails, we were notified late Friday, We we’re traveling to the departure port city on Friday for early boarding on Saturday and didn’t have service or check emails. We are now stuck on a ship for 7 days. Only 3 ports of call and 2 of those shortened excursion days with excursions canceled. Only one excursion day is longer than 6 hours. The cruise is over 168 hours with in port times less than a total of 26 hours. WE used to cruise every year, we always wanted to do an Alaska cruise, now I think we’re done never cruising again! -- Jim Hyde

Talk to the Maitre'd at Da Vinci and you can reserve a specific table for any night, any time.

Don't go until engines are fixed. They knew of these problems in April and to this day they continue to sail knowing you can't make it to all the ports.

Do as much as you can on the app ahead of time.

Don’t do it

Don't sail on this ship until it is engines are 100% functional. They dropped two of our paid exc ursions and one port of call because the ship couldn't travel at full speed. We were told it was due to scheduled maintenance but found out that ours was the fourth trip it had made in this condition and more were scheduled.
