Really the cruise was great, my only complaint was the food in the buffet and the length of time you spend in the main dining rooms.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
To be considered a little slow at embarkation.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Their food in the buffets were very repetitive, not warm and not great. The main dining room after two hours of service the food was either great or lacked luster.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
They have three pools, one is heated and one is very cold but refreshing. Be prepared on a Pacific crossing that the pools turn into wave pools.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The three shows we saw were awesome, beware the 7:30pm show is packed and the 9:30pm show had many seats. Remember this when making reservations for dining.
Children's Programs
No children with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All staff members are very pleasant and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was very clean, ship shoes it’s age but very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Rooms are fine, no place to really sit unless you rent a mini suite which has a couch.
Ship tip
Just remember they have formal nights, you do not have to participate there are other options like room service which if free and the lack luster buffet. The pool in the AFT (back if ship) is very private, quiet with a bar. Want a steak but don’t have specialty dining, order it through room service, there is a cost but it is good. If you order room service they forget to bring things at time, like salt pepper, butter, sugar, cream etc. make sure you request.
You tender here, but once off tender you’re right in the middle of it all. We were there during whale season we took a ship excursion. Excursion was great, but packed with people so if whale is not in your side of the boat good luck.
Sleepy little town, there are free shuttles and they both take you to the same areas. There is a nice beach here, if weather is good I would have done the beach.
Went to Buford Blow Hole, not a ship excursion. We took the $4.09 per person shuttle to town, then purchase the excursion. The blow hole was quite but if you want a good flea market you walk right through it to see the blow hole.
Very good experience but show up to your assigned room about 20 minutes early as, they called our departure quickly. You could tell they were really wanting us off the ship for the next go around.
