Most passengers were ill (cold, flu, etc) and most events, including where dinner was held or the waiting for a table area was extremely crowded in a unsafe space. My party of 15 all became sick and my mother ending up passing away because of this. I’m still dealing a a lost luggage that no one has contacted me back yet. This has important items of my (dead) mother. You as a company are insensitive, rude, disrespectful and unprofessional to say the least. I’m now faced with obtaining an attorney just to find my important missing luggage and to get closure from this horrific experience. To end this thought… it’s even more heartbreaking to think I saved years for this. My room alone was 10k. Add an additional 15k for my immediate family and an additional 50k for the rest of our party makes me SICK!!!!!!
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Prior to sailing we were told a real ID was sufficient. We raised against the clock to obtain a Birth Certificate
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
While our wait staff was amazing the non-scheduled time and table was inconvenient and had us waiting for an hour every night. We missed most show and never were able to eat together with all our family and friends.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
If you’re obsessed with trivia, activities were a bit. Otherwise, you entered into boring the entire cruise.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
If you could get into dinner with out the hour delay waiting for a table, who might have a chance in seeing a show. Several times what was posted didn’t occur example: Billie Joel night.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Most, yet not all we’re very impatient and rude. Our cabin Stewart and Dinning staff were amazing. General staff, such as as shops, bars, buffet were absolutely rude.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
This ship had no impressive areas. All pretty standard. I highly question their cleaning and sanitizing since many folks got sick on our cruise.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
I was told this was a suite and we upgraded (2k each) and my family’s regular room was a full at nicer. Our balcony view was cool.
Ship tip
Don’t. Take a more modern ship where activities and spectacular boat options are available
If the cruise just left today, according to the date you listed, how did you experience all of this already? Why would someone pack important items from their (dead) mother in a checked bag? It sounds like more research should’ve been done as to what was needed to board the cruise and what to expect once aboard.
