Review summary
Crown Princess is BROKEN!!! We are currently on the Crown Princess. One of the motors is broken, there is a terrible vibration in the back of the ship and sounds horrible. In the dining rooms you have to almost yell to hear others at your table. The ship is also traveling at very slow speed. Port times have gone from a day to just a few hours, due to travel speed times. Another port has been canceled all together. When visiting with customer service, I’ve been told this has been a problem for the last several cruises. I asked why we weren’t notified? They stated they did send notification of the itinerary changes. They did send notification 24 hours prior to departure. I checked emails, we were notified late Friday, We we’re traveling to the departure port city on Friday for early boarding on Saturday and didn’t have service or check emails. We are now stuck on a ship for 7 days. Only 3 ports of call and 2 of those shortened excursion days with excursions canceled. Only one excursion day is longer than 6 hours. The cruise is over 168 hours with in port times less than a total of 26 hours. WE used to cruise every year, we always wanted to do an Alaska cruise, now I think we’re done never cruising again! -- Jim HydeEmbarkation
