The ideal place to stay for me, would be on deck 7. nothing but rooms above and below. Also if your doing your time dining and have a large group, you might find yourself waiting a long time to be seated together. Lastly, the laundry rooms are small and very few, in case you need to press clothes or wash.

I have a big complaint about one of the comedians his name is Dwayne Fredericks. He made his punch line on March 21st about guns and killing people. His guns/killing routine was presented during the early comedy show. He made comments about how impatient he was and how he wishes to shoot people and mimicking shooting a gun among the public shooting multiple people from different angles. There were children present since it was the early show and he went as far as asking two children to make a gun firing noise. One of the kids said no and the second one made a low sound that the comedian made fun saying that it was a weak noise. It was disgusting, uncalled for, inappropriate, and not funny at all. It felt as he is living in a different world that he is not taking in consideration the national crises about gun control. It is not comedy to get in front of hundreds of people and make fun of killing people this is not a joke. I did talked to the comedian manager- Alvin- the day before the last day of cruising and expressed my disbelief and discussed of the situation. He indicated that he had already had a talk to the person about his comedy "line/routine". I have been very upset about the situation, and I understand that Carnival is not responsible for children attending a comedy show that is intended for adults only. The issue is that this was the early show, and at any time killing people should not be a laughing matter.

Lessons learned: there is only one outlet in the room and we had three people who needed to charge phones.... bring an outlet strip! This way you can plug multiple things in at once. They also did not have hair conditioner.... so bring that.

Play Bingo while on board - JJ made Bingo fun for our whole family, she was a great MC of the event! Also bring lanyard's to hang your room card on - you will take it everywhere with you and it is so easy if it is hanging on your neck!

if you want to decorate your room and door make sure to use magnets or magnetic tape. Also get a magnetic dry erase board for your door so you can let anyone who goes with you where you are. And it is worth getting the Carnival APP with the wi fi plan so you can communicate with each other.

I would not get a room next to my noisy kids again. A good tip if with a group is buy a door magnetic with and decorate your door to make it easier to find. Amazon has custom door magnetic for about $20.00.
