Totally worth the time and money to do this vacation. Cant get a better deal for what you are paying for and it really was a trip my family will always remember. Highly recommend

It was actually fantastic but I wish I had understood the process ahead of time. How to drop off bags and then park. Perhaps I missed it in the literature... but I had a difficult time finding the terminal and figuring out the bag situation. Once I had that all figured out the actual embarkation process was very streamlined and a positive experience.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Every night in the dining room was an experience we all looked forward to. Some nights the food was better than others but every night it was a great experience. The wait staff seem a bit overwhelmed but they were positive and took the time to know our names and what we liked.
Onboard Activities

I didn't think there were a lot of onboard activities. Everything cost extra money for the most part. Would have been nice to have free activities mixed in with paid activities. Like daytime movies or shows or other things. I did love that for the paid activities the prices were very reasonable. My favorite was the fitness class package! And also the late night parties for the kids. I didn't want to stay up late but my kids did!
Entertainment

The nightly entertainment was family friendly. It wasn't high end entertainment but it did the job and my kids and I really enjoyed the variety of shows.
Children's Programs

Cant say enough about the kids programs. Seriously, they have this down for all age groups. I felt like they offered way more for the kids than the adults!!! My kids never had so much fun and I actually had to beg for time with them because they didn't want to leave kids clubs and activities. They made so many great friends

Ship Quality

They did an excellent job of keeping the cabin and ship clean at all times, it was very impressive and noticeable. took a few days to learn the layout of the ship but once you had it down it was easy to navigate
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin is very plain. We were underwhelmed when we first arrived. Thank goodness we got the balcony because that full wall of windows gave us a view that made the trip spectacular and being able to go outside and watch the whales from our private balcony made the room amazing. Although the décor wasn't anything to rave about the layout of the room and the storage was surprising comfortable. We had three people and exactly the right amount of room to hang everything and store everything. I was impressed with that. They even had great storage in the bathroom for all of our toiletries
Ship tip
Lessons learned: there is only one outlet in the room and we had three people who needed to charge phones.... bring an outlet strip! This way you can plug multiple things in at once. They also did not have hair conditioner.... so bring that.
The process is understandable however it really hard to get kids out of the rooms so early and then make them sit for hours on end during this process. We stayed on deck 9 so that we had access to food at least.
