To travel from aft to fwd the easiest way I found was to drop to 2 deck walk the length of the hall and return to the deck you want , some decks have no thru acess , also good way to avoid the smoky casino area .

The grill has great food and the grandchildren loved having pizza and ice cream when ever they wanted. The Steak house is delicious!

The Lido deck is the best choice for breakfast if and only if you are an early riser. Otherwise the lines are unbearably long. Room service is a good idea for breakfast but portions are small. If you want breakfast for two people, order enough for four. For prompt delivery order the night before.

Take some time a week before embarkation day to study the lay out of the ship to help navigate the ship. If you're not a smoker, I would use deck 6 to go forward to avoid the casino. Unfortunately, the coffee shop is next to the casino keeping us from it.

Get your tender sticker before breakfast so that you don't have to wait 2 hours to get to Cabo. Get the anytime dinner so you aren't confined to the same waiter/time.

When dining on the lido deck, go one floor up to sit; plenty of tables!!

I would recommend purchasing bottles of water to have prior to arrival on carnival website. Go to the shows and enjoy yourself. Try a prosciutto pizza at pizza pirate. Eat a cone at swirls. Have fun!

Don't purchase internet service. It is extremely poor and expensive. We received numerous apologies in writing during the trip, but that doesn't make it alright. It is a product that should never have been offered and refunds were not available after purchase.

From MeetOnCruise iPhone App: Don't let pink black silver decor overwhelm you. Gold objects on ceiling of Gold Pearl MDR are not eggs-they are pearls. Walk the ship after dinner to burn off the warm chocolate melting cake. Try something that you don't normally eat at home.
