Our first cruise on the Carnival Splendor far exceeded our expectations! Our whole family had fun! So many activities on board and in ports for all of us to enjoy! We will definitely take another cruise in the future!

No issues at all, very easy to load up onto the ship. Pay a porter to take your luggage so you don't have to carry it onboard with you. It was so easy! We chose a 1:00 board time and were able to get into our rooms at 1:30 when we got onboard!

The sit down restaurants (Gold Pearl and Black Pearl) had wonderful food every morning and evening! Our favorite was the molten chocolate cake for dessert!
Onboard Activities

The ship is a bit older, so some of the facilities could use a makeover. Very small pools, not much room for kids to swim at all. Fitness facility and spa were great. The Bamboo massage was amazing (it was like a deep tissue massage)!
Entertainment

LOVED the shows on the Splendor! The entertainers were fantastic! Especially loved 80's trivia night with cruise director MarQ - it was the highlight of the cruise for us!
Children's Programs

My 12 year old LOVED his kid's club. He wanted to be there the WHOLE cruise! He was even part of the last entertainment show on board with his kid's club dancing!!!

Amazing wait staff! Our favorite waiter was John - he fed my son dessert one night, it was hilarious! LOVED the cruise director, MarQ! He was by far the best part of this cruise! He was funny and entertaining and everyone loved him!

Play Bingo while on board - JJ made Bingo fun for our whole family, she was a great MC of the event! Also bring lanyard's to hang your room card on - you will take it everywhere with you and it is so easy if it is hanging on your neck!
