We had a fun time because we went with another couple but it wasn’t something I’d do again as just one couple. 2 rough, cold days at sea were a waste. We would miss the entertainment but would enjoy much more of the cities, food and drink for our money, traveling independently, on land.
Embarkation

My wine was taken, even though it followed the rules, because my husband’s didn’t. We don’t drink much, and refuse to spend a lot on the ship, so they basically took away our ability to drink almost anything at all.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The food was mostly good to very good. Only one or two meals had food that I thought was prepared poorly. The cocktails are very weak with tons of sugar, however. They seem very focused on making money on their overpriced alcohol while keeping actual consumption minimal.
The Black Pearl Restaurant

Super friendly, hardworking servers Alfred and Wayne (sp?). Food was very good.

Entertainment

Shows were fun and many were very good. We enjoyed the singing/dancing, comedy and The J Mills Collective. The sing alongs were poorly led and the sound poorly mixed for Kareoke, though.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Hardest working, friendliest workers anywhere.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Very clean but showing some signs of wear and tear/neglect in spots. This ship is about to be remodeled and I was pleased it was kept up as well as it was, considering that, but glad to know it won’t stay as it is much longer.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
It was great except for one thing. There is only one power outlet in the room and it is in a spot where nothing larger than a common hairdryer cord will fit.
Elevators were stuffed and it took forever to get a ride down. They called other floors before we could get down from the 10th. Held up in customs for no good reason. They searched EVERYthing and there was nothing to find. Keep personal but legal things at home if you don’t like your privacy invaded.
