Review summary

This was a very good cruise and we loved it. A criticism centers on the announcements. If in the cabin, can’t understand. That also applies to most places on the ship. Announcements are confusing since the entire announcement is usually not understandable. Suggest monitors on ship where announcements can be read. Tell announcers to slow down their speech and speak clearly.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

Very easy access.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

The Arch was nice to see but not worth the excursion price. Can arrange from the dock. Did not see the town. Would take a city tour next time.

Mazatlan, Mexico

3 out of 5
Did Colonial tour. Guide was well versed but tour was waste of time. Lunch was good. Would not recommend this excursion.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Did city tour. Outstanding! Got to see and get a feel for the city and the guide was great. Wish we had done the city tours in the other two ports.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Well organized, especially considering all people ready to get off at the same time.

You can check the announcements on the TV.

That's the way it is on all cruises...unless its and emergency you will not hear it in the cabin.

The reason you don't hear announcements in the cabin is because they don't want to disturb those passengers who may be resting. The only ones you will hear are emergency ones and usually the Capt in the morning.
