clean, but it took about a day to get used to the gaudy décor, a little chopped up in design, but, plenty of private places.. would rather cruise on a different ship because of the décor and small pools

learn the ship's layout beforehand. try to ignore the decorations. be prepared not to swim since the pools are small

You very much had the option on your own. You just needed to go to guest services and ask them to remove the daily gratuities. They will and yyou can tip anyone or no one that you choose. But as stated in the previois comment you would be not tipping lots of ppl that bust their butts behind the scenes

We always do the prepaid gratuities because that's for all, including those behind the scenes (laundry, kitchen, maintenance, steward and waiters). But, we always personally tip extra those who made our cruise special. Bon voyage
