The BBQ station on the Lido deck is upstairs from the other buffet stations. It's easy to miss if you don't know it's up there, so go up and check it out. It was one of our favorite food choices. Also, get to the comedy shows early, because the line to get in can get long.

Love that ship, want to go back next year Do the Chief table and Steak House if you can. Go in pool early morning its salt water and the crew is great, do the Brunch and sit down dinners when ever you can, room service is free and great us it. Have a Blast

We loved our cruise, the Splendor was a great ship with a crew. There was only two things we didn't like on the ship. In the early morning they would turn off ac and the room would get very warm, sweat time then by 06;00 they would turn it back on and it would cool off.Smoking in the gambling room

not a good ship…refurbished but not up to current standards …overworked and stressed crew members have all but obliterated the cruise experience of even 5-10 years ago… we do appreciate the basic end to formal nights as they were…they all get to be rather silly after a while too...

Try to find another cruise line. No direct path from one end of the ship to the other. Little variation in the buffets from day to day. Very limited (and uninformative) daily events schedule and movies shown in theatre were of $1 Red Box type.

Learn the ship's layout as soon as you can. It really is not that confusing for navigating around this ship.

This is our second cruise with Carnival. We find the people, the food, and the entertainment to be above satisfactory.

Bring a power strip because there is only one Outlet in the cabin. Make sure you understand when the cabin Stewart ask you about cleaning your room seems like they want you to pick day or night but we chose both. I enjoy the casino but the good slots are in the smoking section and I'm not a smoker. Don't forget to check out above the Lido deck there's a barbecue place with very good food. There's a staircase in the Lido dining area that takes you up there.
