Review summary
On our first night we had Paul as our waiter and he was wonderful, but we had our table changed so we could be with other family members. However we asked to have Paul as our breakfast waiter even morning. He was so funny and friendly and did a great job. We also met his wife, who was a hostess and she was also very friendly and sweet to us. For dinner our waiter was Atilla. He was also wonderful. He went way beyond being attentive to us. It is great waiters that really help make your cruise a wonderful experience. We were so lucky to have these two!
Our room stewart was Ade. He did a great job. We saw him in our hallway almost every time we opened our door. He always had a big smile and wave for us and made the time to talk to us and ask us how our day was going. Could not have asked for a better room stewart.
The one thing the cruise lacked was the entertainment in the evening. The group were not very good singers (except for the female lead) or dancers. This was the worst group we have heard on any of the cruises we have been on.
We had a wonderful time and we would go on Carnival again, but I would not recommend any of my friends to go on The Splendor, it just was not as nice a ship as others I have been on and it needed some repair work done.
