wait for final day if you want to buy something.. They had a big sale on Sat. If you are a smoker, it is a good price for cigarette. Also, I recommend to bring bottle of wine(one bottle per one person is permitted because of price. I made a big mistake in the ship. I did not check dress code .

I don't think you need to buy the Excursions, we did fine on our own, also be very careful with the Casinos as far as your credit card is concern. Being that you can access the card through the casinos to play you can run up a large bill. No need to take water being that we got 12 bottles for $3.50

Carnival cruise itself was good but hate cruiseline booking and pricing policies. i absolutely was ripped off even though i booked 1 year in advance.

Please note - your one bottle of wine or allowed beverage per person MUST be in your carry-on and not in your luggage like on planes! It will be confiscated.

Skip the breakfast buffet and have breakfast in the dining room it's much better.

Travel only at the Summer or from Miami. Be careful buying excursions, I paid $20 per person for only 2 hours on a beach.

Get the prescription behind the ear patches before you leave just in case you need them. Bring a power strip since there's only 1 plug. Bring a refillable cup so you can take drinks with you. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. Don't forget fancy clothes for the Captain's Dinner night.

Limit your purchases on the ship. Candy is very expensive. They do have specials in the shops but it's like black Friday and who wants that on your vacation. have room Stewart remove expensive drinks and put your own.
