Review summary

when we arrived our ship was 4 hours late causing our faster to fun to be void. this made me upset . then we didnt see our cabin attendant till day 4 . after requesting him . so i didnt have towel animals or robes till then . also i was quarenteed for 24 hrs due to being motion sick . when dining in main dining hall we were asked to leave not once but twice due to my goddaughter squealing freminder shes 13 months and has autism . after the second time i was very upset and went to management . the daycare would have been nice however the staff didnt even aproach my son until after he had made himself throw up due to crying for a long period of time. they need better trained!!!!! this happened twice. the only time i could use daycare is when i paid and put my son to sleep and told staff to please not touch him and let him sleep . which is completely rediculous . i wasnt even offered a refund for the babysitting because of the issues. overall i will nOT cruise with carnival again i will choose somewhere. else . hopefully will be able to compensate for the issues and make this customer happy.

Our ship had a delay also and our FTTF was still useful we were 2nd on board and our room ready. The steward sounds to have merit but you should have called CS after day 1. As for the child issue I have a 21 month old some nights she will be amazing sit, eat and smile at everyone, others she's not having it so as her mother I pick her up and walk out to not disturb others, it's a part of parenting

Your review gave a bad rating to the MDR because they asked you to leave.  Did you think that your party was disturbing the 100's of other people that paid for a relaxing dinner and cruise?  That is not a review of the food or service in the MDR.   It is a review of your being asked to leave for not being able to control your goddaughter.

I agree with prior posters,  bad grades for FFTF pas not working out.   Ship child care is only for part of the day so late night they charge for baby sitting, they are not really set up for 13 month or 2 year old kids.  Did the cabin steward clean your room,  make beds and change towels and just did not see you ?  From your review I bet you would have called the first day beds did not get made,  I do not think you would go 3 to 4 days with no beds made or turn down service.

another cruiser who wants carnival to bow to their every need! typical liberal. thankfully we will not have to worry about having our time ruined by you and your family! Here is an idea, go to a theme park instead!

no towel animals? seriously? I'm just guessing here but probably the steward was hiding from the screaming and complaining??

I agree with the previous posters, ships are NOT set up to handle special needs children. It sounds like you son has problems too. They should have refunded the FTF charges, did you try? Was it 3 days or 4 for the attendant. On my last cruise I only got towel animals a few days. It's pretty bad if you count that as getting the full experience for your son. It seems he needs some training to be with other people. They aren't trained to handle overly spoiled kids. Nobody else who reviewed this cruise had so may major problems. Try another cruise line and you'll have the same result. It seems you just aren't meant to be a cruiser.

The issues with FTF and cabin attendant sound to have merit. But as for your issues with bringing a 13 month old and autistic child seem to be issues you brought on yourself. As someone who has spent 30 years working with the disabled, and defending their rights, I still feel a cruise ship IS NOT the place for an autistic child; for their sake and those around them.

I agree. Don't go on a cruise and bring a 13 month old. I don't want to vacation next to a screaming baby.
