There were 8 people in our group. We all enjoyed the cruise on-board Carnival Pride. The room is bigger than Norwegian. Although there were less restaurants on Carnival Pride, but their food was excellent. We enjoyed dining in Normandie Restaurant. It was nice to have the same waiters every night. The price for pictures were quite expensive. They should offer package deal or make it more affordable. It was such a waste to take some many pictures and throwing them out.
Overall it was a great first cruise for my family. The ships crew was great. The ship is in need of an overhaul/updating but not so bad as to detract from the fun. I think the Pride is a great first cruise. Princess Cay was great and although the people were nice, I would probably not go back to Nassau and most definitely not go back to Freeport. I do think on our next cruise we will explore different ships and ports.
This was our first cruise for all of us. I traveled with my three teenage children as well as my mother. We were very impressed with the level of service that we received. All of the Carnival employees, from the room stewards to the wait staff to the entertainment crew were extremely friendly and provided exceptional service! Food, entertainment and our cabin were all great as well! We would definitely cruise with Carnival again.
Not all that great. If it wasn't for Imaad at Normandie who took amazing care of my son's diet and Rommell house cleaning for keeping our tiniest cabin super clean I would rate this trip 1*
Also not to forget Lala (she has a long name Neme .....) the lady at Normandie, excellent host
We enjoyed our cruise on the Pride! As always, the staff were wonderful. Team members at the Alchemy Bar played a big part in making our cruise a success. Dining room and housekeeping staff were also wonderful.
Princess Cay was very nice though it was a bit windy/cloudy the day we were there. Nassau is Nassau - good shopping, nice area to walk around though people are always trying to sell you a tour or something. We did a Sail & Snorkel excursion that was a lot of fun - would definitely do again. Freeport is always a bit lackluster. There isn't much there to do, especially since the casino and a few resorts are closed for repairs. We did a fishing trip in Freeport, and it was very enjoyable, but kind of short.
Overall we enjoyed the cruise. We've been on this ship several times and always enjoy our experience.
