Review summary

We would not consider this ship again unless the itinerary was compelling and a bargain. Unfortunately this was our first Carnival cruise

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and welcoming

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
It varied between 3 and 4

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Most were not to our taste. Lectures by guest geologist were informative, pertinent to the journey and well presented. Fitness center large, not too busy and numerous choices of equipment.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Unfortunately in the common areas there was conflict between hearing the performers s traffic and conversations in the venue. Enjoyed crew performances!

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Wide variation from exceptional to average to oblivious of our presence

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Design & layout not conducive to quiet areas, difficult to read, have conversations or participate in games extremely limited for more than two people sitting together. Casino smoke smell permeates adjacent areas. Not enough outside seating for leisure or dining.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Layout worked well, plenty of storage, our steward was Kasey was spot on!

Ship tip

Make sure you have lots of days to get off the ship.
