how about this isnt even a conversation cause they should have asked around cause its no way i would pay that much for a infant or toddler who isnt eating as much if anything offered not using many services. heck my 7 yr old is going next week with us and i didnt and wouldnt pay full price for him yet alone 1500 for me for a 5-7 day cruise not on no day. and then it was years ago chuck up the lose boo this was your fault not carnival. with about 500 more you could have went on a disney cruise lol

yes you do.

if you think about it its 833 a person and i have a two year old going with me and you have to pay full price for the kids thats what carnival told me straight up. you have to pay port cost the same for them as well.

Ok the person who made this complaint has been on one cruise 2 years ago and is just now still whining, I really feel this is 100% a case of someone didn't do their research.

Price for cabin for 3 + port fees/taxes + gratuities = its possible to pay that amount! Thats why I always do mock bookings first. It also allows you to look for discounts like military, senior, state etc.

randypitt17    8 years ago

definitely the agent 14 trips never any hidden charges. And I do check.lol

I agree teresac1963. carnival is not a high price cruise line.

Tanner4 I am going to send you a friend request. That way I can just talk to you without going back and forward on this subject. Ok.

What cruise are you looking at? The only Carnival cruises I see that much are the cruises 11 days or longer, the European cruises on the Vista or getting a grand suite. And Carnivals prices are very transparent if you book yourself. Sounds like you need to fire your agent. And who are you telling to close their website here? This is not Carnival.

You can easily go on the Carnival website and do a fake booking and it will tell you exactly how much you're paying.

Not really sure who you used to book your cruise but every one of the past 12 cruises I have done, the agent emails me a copy of ALL the charges I agreed to after I make deposit or payment in full. There are no upcharges after that unless I buy them (specialty restaurants, excursions, drink package etc.).

sheetara, you and I are on the same cruise (13th), this is our first cruise and I probably purchased everything under the sun for it, where do you go for additional savings? any advice from a seasoned cruiser would be greatly appreciated for future bookings. Thank you so much.

sheetara86    8 years ago

Where did you go!!! I would never pay that much on a small ship. Your agent saw you coming. Unless you use Carnival you can only blame your agent.

please elaborate on the hidden costs that you were charged?
