Review summary

First, the positives:

Food was good

Most of the service was good

We had a good time

The entertainment was good

Negatives:

Took over 2 hours to get on the ship even after filling out everything online in advance.

The main attraction for us, the water slides and splash pad was broken for the entire time

The ship is not well cared for.  There is more vibration throughout the ship than any ship I've been on- to the point where it knocked glasses off the dining table.  It's just looking worn overall as well.

It was very hard to manage my food allergy on board.

Ship experiences

Not much to do there unless you take an excursion or a 30 minute taxi ride to the beach

I love the vibration on this ship, for some reason it calms me.  To each his own I guess :)

I first sailed this ship in July and I too felt that vibration the entire trip. Nothing bad though. Going again on the 26th

fritolay. apply for faster to the fun. it gets you on faster. not much waiting time. apply for it when you schedule your cruise. if it doesn't happen at that time, look in on it once a week and you may get it. better luck next time

during hurricane we got 50% off on that cruise and 50% off on our next one. we are platinum now and working toward diamond. sounds like you cruise like we do. love cruising. carnival is good to you. with platinum you board faster

I was on the week before you. We only got the rough seas on our last night. Nothing a few cocktails didn't fix ;) I'll be on board again December 26.

In September, I never experienced an issue with vibration. I wonder if there was an issue with ballasts/stabilizers or something. Sorry you didn't get to experience the water slides! I had fttf and boarded within a half hour. Definitely worth it. And with the new upgrades, I thought the ship was in "ship shape"!

should apply for fttf. faster getting on. runs around $50.00 per room, but worth it
