One thing that I recommend to to take the time to meet and talk with the crew. They are all very hard working people away from home for long periods of time. Being kind has taken us a long way.

Make sure there is no work being done in your area. We had hammering, grinding and work going on the deck below us. No afternoon naps for us and they woke us up too early.

If it’s your first cruise don’t do a seven day cruise do a 4 to 5 day cruise to get your feet wet, also have if you can some friends go with you that are seasoned cruisers that helps out a lot too.

Remember you are on a ship with over 4000 passengers and only 1,500 staff. This is not a luxury Cruise. This is a family oriented inexpensive Cruise.

If you enjoy kareoke, the venue where it is held is grossly too small with very limited seating- get there an hour early to get a seat! Was greatly disappointed due to lack of seating- with a large lounge next door not used during the day, standing empty.always a very interesting city to visit

If at all physically challenged by all the walking, i would suggest getting a room closest to the elevators mid ship.

Bring extra hangers, I did and was glad I did . Best advise though: Just relax and enjoy every minute because time flies when you are having fun. I recommend the HUB app
