Review summary

The Carnival Dream was our very first ship back in April 2015, and we love this ship so much we have now sailed the Dream 7 times. We love the Spa Suite and the Spa stuff that comes with that suite. We always use the things provided by the Spa. We will miss this ship when it moves to Galveston, and we really wish it was not moving at all. Seems very unfair that the large ship is going to a port with 3 ships (2 big ships, Vista, and Dream) plus the smaller one. I think Carnival needs to rethink the move and/or station a large ship in NOLA. Now NOLA will be stuck with older smaller ships (Valor and Glory). We are not going to drive to Galveston for 8 hours when we can drive to NOLA in 1 hour. You will LOVE the Dream, Awesome Ship.

Cabin was ready as soon as we boarded. Our room stewards, Holik and Dandy were amazing. We asked for ice twice a day and we were never let down. What a wonderful team.

I wrote to John Heald and the Director of the Port of New Orleans and complained profusely but it did no good. Heald said it was just a natural shuffling of ships to different ports. Port Dir said they are excited to get a Glory & Valor. We are just stepchildren in NOLA.
