Eat dinner around 6pm so you can go to the show after and then go straight to the comedy club after the show. They really have the timing right on when shows start so you don't have to miss anything. Relax and let people do stuff for you.

I pack Starbucks instant coffee packs & use the ships half & half. Better than the free coffee & cheaper than purchasing at the specialty coffee bar. I also pack portable disposable cups with lids. I do not pack a coffee mug etc. I lose them every time. Pack disposable with the plastic lids when u walk on deck in the wind it won't blow out of your cup like the ships mugs do. I pack an extra power strip for cell phones etc. Towel clips for my lounge chair keeps my towel from blowing off the chair. A mini flashlight for nightly bathroom trip. Don't have to turn the lights on & wake everyone up. Pack singles lots of them for tipping room service. I roll my own luggage on cam out by the pool until my room is ready .. People actually get their luggage lost on the ship or get the wrong luggage delivered to your cabin. I got the wrong luggage in my room.. Think about this.. I could of went through that luggage if I were dishonest & taken things out. That's why I roll mine to my room.

Bring your own golf balls. The mini-golf is very popular and often there are clubs but no balls. I think they went to several cabins as souvenirs.

Look at your map, ship is easy to navigate but there is so much to see and do, that you don't want to overlook anything. Be sure to try a brunch one morning in the dining room, fantastic menu!

Great service in dining room at breakfast. Fast service and no lines.Try the BBQ out on deck 5 outside. Floor 14 and 15 for adults is a must. The hammocks are to die for. They need more. The one slide was disappoining because you don't go all the way down. Have to walk down stairs the rest of the way. Otherwise the Dream was the best I have been on. Loved it!!!

Enjoy a sit down breakfast. Great way to meet wonderful people and get pointers from seasoned cruisers. Skip the Mongolian station - took an hour.

Check out the adults-only Serenity Deck on board the Carnival Dream. It's near the top of the ship and is a quiet place to get away from much of the noise down below. They have a bar and lots of comfortable places to enjoy watching the ocean glide by. Try a Kiss on the Lips drink! Tasty!

Great cruise but be prepared to pay a lot for soft drinks or if you by the Soda Pass, you do not get as many as you want.

If you want to find a quiet spot away from the masses on deck, go all the way forward on deck 5, 6 or 7 and there is a large metal door that leads to a walkway that is always empty at the front of the ship.

One tip I would share about the Carnival Dream is go to as many shows and events as you can and there are shows/events for all ages all day long. They are all so good and entertaining.

Try the pasta bar at least once for lunch, it's very good. Favorite Frozen drink was the mocha chocolate, yummy. If anyone in your family has food allergies, make them aware of it because the restaurants for dinner are extremely thorough and will visit with you before dinner to go over your meal. Trisna who was in charge when we sailed was amazing with keeping my son's food safe.

Dont buy the excursions on the ship, go to the ports or online. They are way over priced for what you can get in the port. Look for locals to drive you around or give tours, not the Carnival ship approved ones. They need money too!
