What would you do if you were told you can't cruise anymore because of your age and health ?

I for one have no idea what I would do. We have been doing this cruise thing for over 25 years. It is what we live for in some ways. Just waiting for that day can be fun. It is always to fast. We are 76 years old and we will do this until the day we can't get up the ramp and on the ship. WHAT ABOUT YOU ? How will you react to that day? Let it out.

As for rejecting someone for health, I’d expect a chance to have a physicians note as to health.

i assume that this question includes problems with health evaluations with COVID. And, for that matter, the statistics about age and health ... but those s are changing and the percentage of deaths has just dropped from 25% to 7%!

It would be very unfair.

I don't think such a situation would be possible, but I think I would be very upset anyway.
My family and I love to travel and we do it quite often so it would not be normal for someone to forbid us to do so without a very good reason.
Last time we were in Lisboa and we really liked it. We turned to a company with the help of which we visited many beautiful places there that we did not know if we did not turn to them. From what I understand, they provide services in any country so that if any of you need it, they can leave their site here https://tripduck.com/corfu/

On the first cruise I was on, I met a mother and daughter who had been on many cruises together. Mom was 100 years old, and I met them in a lounge where mom was dancing to the band's music. That's the old person I want to be!

I like that plan! Can I join you?

I might look into all-inclusive resorts.

No big deal. Read more books, paint, play stupid video games, or just travel the "old fashion" way.

Or buy a yacht and sail myself.

This was a great thread I think...but upon reflection, the fear of not being able to cruise because of those pre-existing conditions including age will be left where it belongs...on a personal level between you (the person in the mirror) and your MD....a shot card would be a reasonable reg....and possibly legally sustainable....other than that....cruise on!
