We've all been talking a lot about what cruises we want to take when this is all over, where we want to go, etc. but I want to focus on the ships themselves on this post. Itineraries aside, what ships do you REALLY want to sail someday? And why? Here's my list:
I want to either sail Symphony of the Seas again (a 2-night cruise was too short the first time) or another Oasis class ship on a full cruise, to really experience what a real voyage with paying passengers on one of these massive ships is like. Plus I think they're designed extremely well and it would just be so much fun - especially if there were several sea days.
Carnival's Mardi Gras sounds like it's going to be something very different for them, and I like how they're thinking of the ship in zones kind of like Royal's Oasis class neighborhoods. And many of the activities/venues they've announced for this ship sound really fun so I really, REALLY want to sail it.
I was very skeptical of Celebrity Edge when it first debuted, but I've warmed up to the idea and want to sail either this ship or Apex. I think of these ships in particular especially as like the older, more modern cousin to Royal's newer vessels and I love those, so I'm sure I'd love these. PLUS I've never actually sailed Celebrity yet so it would be a fun intro to my own experience with the brand.
Any Disney ship, but preferably Dream or the new Wish when it debuts. Just because I adore Disney and haven't sailed them yet, either.
Viking's upcoming expedition line and their upcoming Mississippi River ship. Because I adore Viking and don't think there's any way I wouldn't enjoy these new ventures from them.
Something I do NOT care to sail soon is Virgin. I had high hopes and I love modern design more than nearly everyone I know, but based on photos and reviews I've heard, this ship isn't it. If they modify some things for their next vessels though, I'll be very curious.
I can't wait to hear everyone else's answers!
