What ships do you want to sail the MOST someday?

We've all been talking a lot about what cruises we want to take when this is all over, where we want to go, etc. but I want to focus on the ships themselves on this post. Itineraries aside, what ships do you REALLY want to sail someday? And why? Here's my list:

I want to either sail Symphony of the Seas again (a 2-night cruise was too short the first time) or another Oasis class ship on a full cruise, to really experience what a real voyage with paying passengers on one of these massive ships is like. Plus I think they're designed extremely well and it would just be so much fun - especially if there were several sea days.

Carnival's Mardi Gras sounds like it's going to be something very different for them, and I like how they're thinking of the ship in zones kind of like Royal's Oasis class neighborhoods. And many of the activities/venues they've announced for this ship sound really fun so I really, REALLY want to sail it.

I was very skeptical of Celebrity Edge when it first debuted, but I've warmed up to the idea and want to sail either this ship or Apex. I think of these ships in particular especially as like the older, more modern cousin to Royal's newer vessels and I love those, so I'm sure I'd love these. PLUS I've never actually sailed Celebrity yet so it would be a fun intro to my own experience with the brand.

Any Disney ship, but preferably Dream or the new Wish when it debuts. Just because I adore Disney and haven't sailed them yet, either.

Viking's upcoming expedition line and their upcoming Mississippi River ship. Because I adore Viking and don't think there's any way I wouldn't enjoy these new ventures from them.

Something I do NOT care to sail soon is Virgin. I had high hopes and I love modern design more than nearly everyone I know, but based on photos and reviews I've heard, this ship isn't it. If they modify some things for their next vessels though, I'll be very curious.

I can't wait to hear everyone else's answers!

I want to sail on the Mardi Gras and the Allure of the Seas.

Queen Mary 2 Trans-Atlantic.

Any RCL Quantum and a Viking ship

I had to cancel two Carnival cruises so will be booking new ones soon. I so want to get a balcony on the new Mardi Gras, but I also love the mid-size ships in the Carnival fleet. We will probably do a couple back in the Caribbean when cruising opens up, then Alaska and a Transatlantic with time in Europe next year. We have cruised twice a year since retirement, so we are really ready for our time on the high seas!

I would love to cruise the Queen Mary 2. I just really want to cruise on this ship. I am hopeful that for my 60th. birthday (2022) I'll be on this ship.

I'd like to go on the new Celebrity Edge or Apex. Celebrity is my favorite cruise line so I want to try the new ships. My current favorite ship is the Celebrity Equinox after 2 cruises on her.

I'd also like to do a European River Cruise. To do that I was thinking of taking a Transatlantic cruise to Europe, then a week in Venice, then the River Cruise, then another week in Europe before flying home. The advantage of a Transatlantic cruise is no Jet Lag when you get to Europe, I can't sleep on a plane, so my first day in Europe is lost sleeping. The time Changes an hour a day on the cruise so I do not notice it, when we get there I'm already on there time.

YES you NEED to try Viking! I'm so obsessed with them lol

I would like to sail on the Norwegian Bliss just to see what she is like. Would love to try a Viking cruise or two as well and possibly Celebrity.

More ... need more cruises ...

I agree completely! I am looking forward to our first riverboat cruise on the American Song.
