I for one have no idea what I would do. We have been doing this cruise thing for over 25 years. It is what we live for in some ways. Just waiting for that day can be fun. It is always to fast. We are 76 years old and we will do this until the day we can't get up the ramp and on the ship. WHAT ABOUT YOU ? How will you react to that day? Let it out.
What would you do if you were told you can't cruise anymore because of your age and health ?
I (we) would be pissed off as hell..and then get over it as best we could...We don't have time for the angst....then buy ANOTHER new car...order it as a matter of fact....since I'd have all this extra $$...besides, the cruising they would have available isn't the cruising we know...so whats the point. we manage to enjoy even mediocre cruises, because we know how...what they're planning...nah....
And fwiw, they can test and poke all they like, but blatant age discrimination won't fly.
I thought long and hard how to answer this. My best answer comes in picture form:
Yep .. would not be a happy camper and my wife would have to listen to me rant a bit but then I would just carry on. What else can you do.
I understand !
I love your answer .
Go to Disneyworld
i would book a two week carribbean vacation. one week in st maarten and one in barbados
Th sounds like a good idea and a good place to go. Thanks !
Good idea. Thank you !
I would be unhappy, but life goes on. I have done about 30 cruises so far. If no cruising I'd look into renting a place for a couple weeks at a time in places like Rome, Venice, the Greek Islands and some places here in the US like Morro Bay, Big Bear, Ventura, Vegas, Sequoia, San Diego and Seattle (all but Seattle 4 hours or less drive from me). I would not do the RV thing, spending all day driving and being cramped in a small space is not a vacation for me.
