I am an old hand at Cruise Critic, but a newbie at Cruiseline.com. Tried as I have I can't figure out how to post and read messages/posts within a Roll Call. I have also signed up for the sailing. Could someone please tell me how to do that? Thanks in advance.

How to post within a Roll Call? How

If you download the Shipmate app, you can add the cruise (which you have already done), Tap on your profile in the lower right corner or "My Cruises" (in the lower left). This will show you all your upcoming cruises. Tap the one you wish to view the Roll Call for. Then tap "Chat" and that will take you to your Roll Call chat. If you tap the ship again where it says "Your Ship", you'll find conversations from all cruises from all Roll Calls on that ship.
Going ot your profile, click on your cruise. There will be a "list" of fellow passengers. Go below that list and you will see a comment section. There will be the "chat" for that sailing. I find most of them rather inactive.
You beat me to it...I've even checked a few where there's HUNDREDS of folks signed up, and there's virtually no comments. The thing isn't conducive to conversations...either that, or the "notification" function doesn't work properly (being notified when someone posts in it)...mine hasn't worked in years, and yes the poohbahs in charge know about it and can't seem to fix it...I gave up on it because it doesn't make any difference if its not used...the only thing it DOES do is enable the countdown clock in the forum....
