Perfect for retirees, couples, and destination-focused cruisers, Norwegian Spirit sails on port-intensive itineraries between Europe and Asia. This midsize ship offers a classic cruise experience that's more about understated elegance and less about flashy theme park amenities.
During the day, Spirit's Tivoli pool is the relaxation hotspot. The main pool features Roman decor, quadruple whirlpools and plenty of comfortable loungers where you can stretch out. In the evening, the Promenade becomes the heart of the ship. This open-air boardwalk features an assortment of bars and restaurants, including Henry's Pub and Cagney's Steakhouse where you can relax and refuel before catching a show in the Stardust Theatre. Spirit has two signature stage shows; grab a seat for the acrobatic earth-inspired extravaganza ELEMENTS! or the musical revue Soul Rockin' Nights, which features sizzling renditions of your favorite hits.
Norwegian Spirit has plenty of other onboard activities, whether you're interested in trying your luck at the Maharajah's Casino or sampling a luxurious treatment at the Mandara Spa. If sitting still isn't part of your vacation plans, you can work off your excess energy on the basketball court or jogging track, which has stunning ocean views. There's even a driving range where you can practice your golf swing while you enjoy the best parts of Freestyle cruising.
For the upcoming seasons, Norwegian Spirit travels on exciting international itineraries between Europe and Asia. The ship offers an excellent selection of longer cruises in the 14-day range. Mediterranean itineraries depart from Rome's regional Civitavecchia port, and Scandinavian/Northern European cruises depart from Southampton, England. A select number of one-off departures leave from Venice, Stockholm, Cape Town, and Singapore. Starting in the summer of 2020, Spirit will transition to a seasonal homeport in China.
