We really enjoyed this cruise and would recommend it to all our friends.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
There were no long lines. We walked right up to the check-in personnel, answered a few quick questions, and off we went to board the ship and straight to our cabin to see if it was ready, and it was. We dropped off our back packs and headed to Lido deck to have a few bites to eat.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We had a bit of trouble getting a table assignment. For some reason, they had us sitting with a group of people although we had requested specifically a "Table for two." We tried several nights to get an assignment, but the system was not cooperative. We had to walk up to the receptionist and ask for a "table for two" every single night. It was somewhat frustrating.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the nightly shows in the World Stage, plus a few other performances by the classical duo. We prefer classical music for winding down the day.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Some of our favorites: Lincoln Center Presents, Humanity, Musicology, Shades of Buble, Annie Gong, the Knights, Lisa Harman, and local shows like Drums of Polynesia and The Spirit of Tahiti.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room stewards were the best -- Hendry and Zeki. The dining room staffs were great, too, especially Kadek, Rommel, and ? (forgot Rommel's waiter partner).
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We love this small ship. It felts very cozy and yet very spacious as oppose to the big ships like Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam. The big ships seemed more crowded.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We love cabin 2598. The location was great in that there was very little motion felt during rough seas. We also felt it was quiet because it was away from the internal noise of the ship, like perhaps the laundry area, or what not.
Ship tip
We only have good things to say about this ship. We would not hesitate to sail it again in the future.
We joined an excursion to the Colo-i-Suva Forest Park. It was an okay experience. The waterfall was disappointing in that it wasn't what was pictured on the brochure.
Both days were fun. We took an island tour for the first day and the second day, we just took a stroll to the nearby restaurant. We enjoyed their local delicacy - poisson cru.
