This was a repositioning cruise so the ports changed a couple of times after we booked. We went to NYC instead of Boston, Eastport instead of Bar Harbor. It was cool to cruise past the Statue of Liberty. It is a small ship so we did get some noticeable movement when out of the coves. We really hoped to see more leaf color but it had not been cold enough yet. Loved Nova Scotia and look forward to returning.

Their app sucked, didn't work on my phone which is 5g. TV app in room didn't work for me. Had to book everything with front desk.. We got locked out of our room on last night, staff didn't help had to walk to front desk barefoot. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

while I have done a lot of New England -Canada cruises with different people and different cruiselines, this was fresh and new since it was 'Canada intensive' and we visited many new ports in Canada. It was fun discovering new places . Okay, full disclosure. Highlight was Cow Creamery in Charlottetown! Ply me with ice cream and I'll follow you anywhere...

To me this is a don't miss cruise. You've got to go see these places if you love nature. Do your research and have an excursion or plan for each port AND a back up if something cancels the first one. Love, love, love Volendam and the crew. Very sad to disembark.

This was a fantastic cruise. The itinerary was very good. The captain was funny as he made announcements and walked around the ship. All staff and crew were very good at their jobs.

A good cruise trip. The stewards, waiters and ship official were all friendly. Some port excursion programs were interesting, two birdwatching excursions we joined were quite disappointing, and much more expensive that those same booked online or locally. Dinning was good in general. Waiting time was too long in the Dinning Room, and some food in Lido was not fresh and even rotten.

We had a lot of fun, good people on ship & in the ports. All the stops were amazing, good shopping. Montréal was spectacular, loved Nova Scotia.

Don't expect an overwhelming experience on HAL for this standard cruise itinerary. The stops are good for a first time visit. The ship was understaffed and that showed in the wait service in the dining room. But the ship was clean and the fitness center and spa helped to pass the time while sailing.

I enjoyed this cruise. It was a smaller ship which was ok. It was nice that we were the only ship in each port so the towns weren’t overcrowded with tourists. Very walkable towns. We took our autistic son and he was not overwhelmed. We all had a great time.

This was a great itinerary, and the ship was perfect for the smaller ports.

Highly recommended! Thank you to Hari, the wonderful origami teacher from the Netherlands (sorry I can’t remember her name but she was WONDERFUL), Sugong, Agung, Kadek, Lance, and the Performers in the jazz band at the ocean bar for making my family’s experience all the more memorable.

This was our first cruise. I wanted something where I could sit back and let someone else handle everything. This was perfect. I had a blast and am totally looking forward to going again.

Really loved seeing all these beautiful and so very different cities along this trip. We really liked this selection of ports more than any other cruise line doing the same area. Loved all the ports very much. And especially enjoyed the size of the ship Volendam. Perfect for seniors. No crowds. Few kids. Not loud and noisy. No long lines anywhere.

We enjoyed the Volendam ship and hope to cruise on it again in the future. The itinerary was very good.

I enjoyed the food on board and the ease of traveling via ship vs flying or driving for sure. The staff were very nice, and I really enjoyed the Have it All Package especially the restaurants on board. Canaletto was excellent and reasonably priced and was my favorite.

This was our first cruise, and it came in way ahead of expectations. Will definitely look into future cruises with Holland America.

Enjoyed everything about this cruise. The Cabin was comfortable, Food was great, Daily activities were fun. I only went to Cape Breton Thunder concerts and the Holland 150th Anniversary Show and they were great.

Never saw so many electric scooters and walkers at one time in my life, many using them acted as though they were entitled to go as they pleased.

IT WAS HORRIBLY RUN BY HOLLAND AT EVERY ARE FROM SERVICE TO EXCURSIONS TO BASIC INFORMATION . THEY WERE UNORGANIZED ,UNINFORMED -MANY DID NOT EVEN COMPREHEND BASIC ENGLISH AND NEEDED HELP FROM ANOTHER CREW MEMBER VERY UNDERSTAFFED SHIP AS WELL .

New Zealand's 10 ports were quickly boring. Enjoyed Australia much more, and the Pacific Islands are ever romantic. Better and shorter cruise with only 2 NZ ports and Dili vice Komodo.
