It is a smaller ship, so there was not a lot of activities. However, the activities that were available were enjoyable. We didn't need anything more.

We did not attend the stage shows, but the musician was good (better than we have seen on a larger ship), and the piano entertainer was a lot of fun. The Orange Party was fun, and the bar hop prior to the Orange Party was a blast!

Though this is a smaller and older ship, it suited us well. We had everything we needed, and the public areas were well designed, comfortable, and never over-crowded. Everything was always clean and in good condition.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was comfortable and clean. Though the bathroom was small, it was well designed. The bed was comfortable. The sitting area was large and comfortable. The balcony was very nice.
Ship tip
This was the smallest and oldest ship we have every sailed on, and therefore I was concerned that we would be bored, or it would look run-down. However, the trip was perfect! We actually enjoyed the smaller ship, and it is in great shape for its age. We would happily select the Volendam again!
This is a nice, small town, but there is not much to do here. We were not impressed the the shore excursion options (too much time on a bus). Perhaps if we ventured further away from the port we would have enjoyed it more.
