Best food in the Pinnacle Grill, although early nights in the main dining room were good. Breakfast for sure in the buffet, no where else. Lunch in Pinnacle was fantastic!

If you are an adult and want to swim comfortably get to the pool when it first opens to avoid the crowd.

The LIDO deck was very busy for breakfast - better to use the dining room !

Organized and fun activities, outings and entertainment for the duration of the cruise.

You can save time and effort by taking the Cruise out of Seattle. Boarder crossing are a hassle. I wanted to see Vancouver BC , rated the best city in the world to live in. Being from Texas I think we have better. But everything in Texas is better.

1) Plan your day as soon as you get the itinerary (receive it late the day before). There are lots of things to do even when you don't go ashore. 2) Don't use Internet on board, too expensive with slow connectivity. Use Internet cafes on land instead. 3) Lido deck has great variety of food.

Go to the library to have a very good view and sit among a variety of books. The Volendam is the best ship to steer us closer to the glaciers and Tracy Arm! Thank you!

Go on the Ketchikan Crab Feast for a hands-on, truly Alaskan experience!

Bring rain gear as it rains normally; binoculars for spotting whales and animals

We were in the aft of the ship in the last room. Fortunately for us, that meant a better and bigger balcony. The downside is you you have quite a walk to get anywhere else on the ship.

Purchase green room. It was the best kept secret!

Guests need to be aware that no money is used on board, everything is charged to your room, including your tips.

Food at the Lido cafeteria was not as good as on other ships on which we have traveled. Nor was there a particular variety. On the other hand, the cruise director does a great job and is a joy to be around.

Don't bother with the Rotterdam Dining Room unless you just like to dress up. Food was slow and inconsistent. Lido adds flexibility and you can pick and choose a wide variety. Worth at Lido trying is the Italian counter. Never change money on board. They blame Bank of America for their poor ra

The LIDO needs to be improved with better preparation and better meals.
