Spend the extra money to dine at the finer restaurants. The main dining was ok, but t he premier place were money well spent.

If you have a disabled person using a scooter traveling with you, be prepared to wait a long time to catch an elevator to go up one floor or down one floor.

smoking area on deck 15 is small and uncomfortable

If you get a room with a balcony, get your money's worth and use it. If you will not be utilizing it, then get one without a balcony.

If you have kids who might be napping during the day, be sure to check your cabin location to minimize noise. I thought I had found a quiet level of the ship, but even at night the music and noise from a club was able to be heard down the hall. The interior balconies are open to the pool deck and aqua theater, so consider that when looking as well.

The ship is massive and when it is full it is a bust place. Book all of your specialty dining and excursions weeks before you sail. Book all of your shows (musicals, ice skating, comedy, headliner, etc.) as soon as you step on the ship. They will fill up fast.

Don’t frequent the Solarium on sea days
Luckysmom
Book the shows right away
slatg2017
Be the first on the ship if you want to see any shows that need reservations and if you have My Time dining to get the time slot you want.
jamieepps
Pay for the ocean view room and if you have a problem don’t waste your time going to guest services. They don’t care.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet you likely won’t find it on this ship. It’s big and beautiful and has lots of activities but it is clearly designed for families and kids, not couples or single cruisers.

Be ready to stand in line for everything. Very disorganized!!

Join the Facebook pages because royal Caribbean does not do a good job of letting you know what’s going on.

If cruising during hurricane season, be prepared for itinerary and port changes. Hurricane Lisa cancelled our ports in Costa Maya and Roatan and so we got an extra day at sea and a new port of Nassau, which is not one of my favorite ports.

Don't be afraid to ask- ice bucket, a particular type of food or diet issues. They will try if they can. Also- check your invoice before final day so any discrepancies can be cleared up on ship.

Plan to come back either sick with Covid, the flu or cruise crud.

Bring motion sickness medicine just in case. This was my first cruise and in the second day, I was nauseous from the waves. Once I got going and kept myself busy, I was okay but it put a damper on that second day.

Just enjoy yourselves.

Like any cruise, make sure you throw a swimsuit in your carry on backpack, so you can hot tub it, while waiting for your room to be ready and get to your luggage.
