I had a lot of fun, enjoyed being away for my first post Covid trip …But most people that we know came back sick with either Covid, the flu or cruise crud.(including myself). In the future I think I may prefer a slightly smaller ship than these massively large ones.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food was inconsistent. Breakfast in the main dining room was good, but the wind jammer was awful.
The lunch selections were lacking and I didn’t care for the windjammer selections. The sandwich/salad shop in Central Park had nice selections. I think people seem to like the venues that you had to pay extra for.
I was happy with most of the food in the main dining room for dinner, and the specialty restaurants we ate at were good .. especially Hooked. Chops was also inconsistent. Just an FYI… In any of the venues, we found that if you order your steak or prime rib rare …you get a nice big piece that’s juicy. Medium you still get a nice piece that’s good. But if you order your steaks well done you’ll cut very thin small pieces.
Sorrento's

The pizza was a big hit with everybody, and was really good.
Cafe Promenade

We enjoyed the coffee and snacks at Café promenade
Wonderland

Unfortunately we didn’t have dinner there but the bartender made the most wonderful cocktails.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Many activities to choose from that people seemed to enjoy.
Entertainment

We never saw the water show it was canceled more than once, and not due to weather. One of the other shows he went to see was canceled last minute and then we just decided to skip the remaining shows. I was disappointed that they were the exact same shows that I saw in 2019 before Covid.
Formal night was canceled for no apparent reason on the second night and Halloween was highly disorganized as well as the 70s night. My last cruise in 2019 was amazing with Halloween and the 70s show but this one was just pitiful. The piano bar musicians were fantastic as were some of the other musicians throughout the ship.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service and staff were inconsistent as well. But I don’t think it was their fault as they had a lot to deal with that was out of their control. The whole ship needs to be more organized.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
A little more attention to the bathrooms outside of the dining room would be nice but overall I felt the ship was relatively clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were happy with our cabin and our attendant was great.
Ship tip
Plan to come back either sick with Covid, the flu or cruise crud.
Customer was pretty, I would recommend going to one of the private beach clubs such as Mr. Sanchos. But definitely not Playa Mia (not sure of the name) it was right by Mr. Sanchos)
Basically we wore masks anywhere that there was a crowd. Inside outside didn’t matter. But especially in the elevator since it seemed like everyone wanted to challenge how many could fit in one. And the show flight on the last day they packed them in like sardines.
We were on the same cruise as well. Totally agree the Halloween stuff and 70’s party was disorganized and a disappointing. Not many photo ops either. Shows cancelled a lot. Our first on a ship this big and never again. In Cozumel we recommend Nachi Cocom. They limit the number of folks there. In Nassau we got a day pass from Margaritaville.
We wore masks in the elevators, to the shows and at 70’s night. Thankfully we didn’t come back with Covid but my husband did get some crud right when we got back but was not Covid.
I asked a ship person if there was any Covid outbreak on the ship they told me NO but I’m guessing they are not allowed to talk about it.
A good breakfast and lunch on the ship thst is less crowded is the solarium bistro.
We were on the same cruise as well and saw many people getting sick by the end of the cruise. I agree with your comments. I was one of them that got Covid on the ship. Luckily, started getting symptoms on the last day. I tried so hard not to touch anything and wash my hands often. Unfortunately, all my precautions still didn't work. We had a good time but could have done without the gift of Covid after the cruise ended. Many people were coughing and sneezing without covering their faces. 🤧
I agree...We were on the same ship and time- very disorganized activities and a dud cruise director (which I believe was in charge of those activities). Looked like there were a lot of sick people by end of cruise. I saw many people that walked right thru washing area without washing in Windjammer. We are bringing gloves for handling tongs in Windjammer for our next cruise.
