Review summary

Overall, we enjoyed the cruise and had a relaxing time. A lot of things have changed since pre-covid days and the cruise line is dealing with training new staff and not having a full capacity of staff. If you sweat the small things it will ruin your cruise so it's best to go knowing not everything is going to be perfect but just chill and have a good time.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
It was very disorganized and slow compared to pre-covid days.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining room was awesome. The Windjammer Buffet was subpar. Food choices could have been much better.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The ship was really full so sea days were packed. They showed Top Gun one night starting at 10:00 pm. Would have like to seen it offered during the day as well. I think there could have been more organized activities on Sea days.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the ice shows. One theater show got cancelled due to a cast member getting a sprained ankle.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Overall, service was very good. Our cabin steward and MDM wait staff was great. Buffet staff could have been better. Also, they needed more bar staff during peak hours as you had to wait to get your drinks at the bar.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Love the design and layout of the ship. Ship was kept clean but after day two, staff gave up on trying to get people to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer station. By end of the cruise, many people were clearly getting sick. I don't blame the staff. Adults should know to take precautionary measures to not spread viruses, but, unfortunately, many selfish people refused to do so.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was nice and was a Central Park Balcony. As others have mentioned, you are in a fish bowl since you look straight across at other cabins, but we knew this when we booked it.

Ship tip

If cruising during hurricane season, be prepared for itinerary and port changes. Hurricane Lisa cancelled our ports in Costa Maya and Roatan and so we got an extra day at sea and a new port of Nassau, which is not one of my favorite ports.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
Cozumel is okay, but every time we go there, the prices for merchandise goes up and up. It was more expensive than at home.

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5
Port we got on the ship at.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Disembarkation was fairly quick, but was a little disorganized. Getting off the ship.
